LumenPNP Workbench
In this project I built a solid wood workbench for my LumenPNP Pick-and-Place machine. These machines can shake and vibrate quite noticeably, so a solid work surface is greatly beneficial in improving accuracy.
The project started as it always does, with a Fusion360 model:

This is a functional table, not a decorative one like the filament cabinet, so it's entirely made with Home Depot SPF construction lumber. The tabletop is laminated in 3 large pieces, the legs are built, and the results are sanded and run through the planer.

The tabletop is quite large and heavy, so it has to be worked in sections. Once glued and clamped, the ends are trimmed.

With all the major components finished, the legs are primed and painted pumpkin orange. The tabletop is finished with General Finishes Satin Polyurethane.

Last step is assembly. The legs are fastened together and the tabletop clamped with L clamps. The final assembly is then placed in my workroom, the PNP is sat on top, and a wall-mounted monitor added. Looks good!
